Bilingual Movie Subtitles Text Animation After Effects Template

Bilingual Movie Subtitles Text Animation brings a modern caption title straight from the big screen into After Effects. An italic original line sits above a regular translated line at the bottom of the frame, the bilingual subtitle style used in foreign language films. It is a natural fit for documentaries, interviews and series. Whether you are making movie titles, trailer titles or a full title sequence, this title animation keeps the typography cinematic.

Edit the two text layers to change the caption lines. Everything is driven from one CONTROL PANEL layer: global scale and position, text shadow, position and color for each text. For the movie look you get letterbox bars (on/off and size), video darken, vignette, fade from black, film grain and a zoom control for your clip. The background is a two-tone gradient you can recolor or hide completely when the title sits over a clip.

It is the kind of professional title opener you see in blockbuster trailers, ready for your own story. Demo video clips from the preview are not part of the download; drop your own shot in place of the DELETE THIS LAYER placeholder. Everything is designed at 3840x2160 (Ultra HD 4K), plays at 60 frames per second and lasts about 6.0 seconds. Only built-in After Effects effects are used, so you need After Effects 2023 or newer and no plugins. The fonts come from Adobe Fonts and activate with your Creative Cloud plan. Inside the download you will find a step-by-step tutorial and a list of the fonts with links. Combine it with the movie titles, subtitles and opening credits from the same cinematic series. The Premium plan covers commercial projects, so filmmakers, agencies and freelancers can publish it with confidence.
