1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected and used when you visit typoanim.com or use our services (the “Service”). The data controller is Aliyar Mikayilov, an individual entrepreneur trading as “Typoanim”, Yeryomenko St., Building 1143, Apt. 0003, Khatai district, Baku, Azerbaijan (“Typoanim”, “we”, “us”).

2. Data we collect

Account data — first name, last name, email address and an encrypted (hashed) password when you register. If you sign in with Google or another supported provider, we receive your name and email address from that provider.
Download and usage data — which templates you download, your collections and download history (for registered users).
IP address and technical data — your IP address is used to apply the Free download limit and to protect the Service against abuse. Our servers also record standard log data such as browser type, device and the pages requested.
Purchase and subscription data — if you buy Premium, payments are processed by Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record). We receive information such as your name, email address, country, plan, subscription status and transaction references. We never receive or store your full card details.
Messages — information you send us via the contact form or email (email address, subject, message, optional URL and attachments).

3. How and why we use your data

To provide the Service (performance of a contract): creating and managing your account, delivering downloads, license certificates, collections and Premium access.
To process subscriptions (performance of a contract): managing Premium access in connection with Paddle’s payment processing.
To keep the Service fair and secure (legitimate interests): applying download limits, preventing fraud, abuse and unauthorized access.
To communicate with you (contract / legitimate interests): account verification emails, password resets, responses to support requests and important service notices.
To improve the Service (consent where required): understanding how visitors use the website through analytics.
To comply with legal obligations: for example tax, accounting and law-enforcement requests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate agreements:

Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record and payment processor, which handles checkout, billing, invoicing, taxes and refunds. Paddle processes your payment data under its own privacy policy.
Contabo GmbH — hosting provider of our servers and database (located in the European Union).
Google — Google Analytics (website analytics), Google Workspace (email) and Google Sign-In if you choose to use it.
Other sign-in providers (for example Facebook, X or Microsoft) — only if you choose to sign in with them.
Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data from the EEA or UK is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or on adequacy decisions where available.

6. How long we keep data

Account data — for as long as your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 30 days after you ask us to delete your account, unless we must keep it longer by law.
Download history — for as long as your account exists, so you can access your license certificates.
IP addresses used for download limits — up to 30 days.
Unverified registrations — removed when you register again or after a reasonable period.
Support messages — up to 24 months after the request is closed.
Transaction records — as long as required by tax and accounting laws (kept by Paddle and, where applicable, by us).

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing (including processing based on legitimate interests); data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, email hello@typoanim.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

Essential cookies — such as the session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects your account. These are required for the Service to work.
Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to help us understand how the website is used (for example, pages visited and time spent). These do not identify you directly.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

9. Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted HTTPS connections, hashed passwords, firewalled servers and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a data breach where required by law.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. For significant changes we will notify registered users by email or through a notice on the website.
