Animated Text Transitions featuring Vertical Slit Panels and Video Filled Word Video Template for After Effects

Its look comes from vertical slit panels and video filled word. Your own footage shows through the cutout letters, so the move from one shot to the next feels seamless. Typical uses: YouTube videos, fashion edits, travel edits and commercials. It reads as a bold, professional typography transition thanks to seamless cuts and motion graphics. It uses Acumin Pro from Adobe Fonts, which every Creative Cloud member can activate for free. One control switches the design between a horizontal 16:9 frame and a vertical 9:16 frame for reels, TikTok and stories.

Inside the After Effects project you get 1 text field and 2 color controls, plus scale and position controls; it runs 4 seconds at 60 fps in a horizontal or vertical layout. Timing is easy to stretch, so the cut can land on the beat of your music. Background and slide colors have their own controls, and the background layer can be turned off. The footage seen in the preview is not included. Combine this video template with more cutout transitions and titles templates for a consistent edit.
