Band Title to Giant Letters Typography Transition After Effects Template

A condensed word sits in a white band over the footage, then the type scales up into giant letters that sweep across and reveal the next scene. Two typographic moments in one cut make it a fit for fashion, editorial, music and portfolio videos. Anton, a free Google Font, gives the title its strong character.

Double-click the .aet file and After Effects 2023 or later opens a fresh, untitled copy of the project, so the original always stays safe. The 1 text layer is edited in the EDIT composition, while the CONTROL PANEL layer holds 2 color controls and a background on/off switch. Put it on top of the cut between your two shots so the slide hides the edit, or render it with transparency for use in other software. The animation lasts roughly 5 seconds at 60 frames per second in 1920x1080. The download includes our step-by-step PDF tutorial and a font guide, and no third-party plugins are needed.
