Stencil Word Text Transitions featuring Splitting Frame and Ribbon After Effects Template

Your first shot splits open, a white page shows a cut-out word filled with the footage and a band carries you to the next one. Cut-out typography reveals the video inside the letters, perfect for travel films, podcasts, YouTube and Instagram. Great for video editors who want text transitions for intros, travel montages, business presentations and creator content. The clips in the preview are examples only: put your own footage into the placeholders and the transition works with any video. Type is set in Protest Strike, free on Google Fonts; the font guide links to it.

Double-click the .aet file and After Effects 2023 or later opens an untitled copy, so the original stays safe. Type your words in the EDIT composition (1 text layer) and recolor the design from the CONTROL PANEL layer with 2 color controls. Background footage from the preview is not included, so the titles sit on top of your own video. Resolution 1920x1080, 60 frames per second, roughly 4 seconds long. No third-party plugins are required, and a PDF tutorial plus a font guide come with the download.

This is a Premium template, included in the Typoanim Premium plan with every other premium design. A commercial license is included for client projects, ads, social media and monetized videos, credit-free. Find more transition templates for After Effects in the premium collection.
